Hejsan!
Jag köpte en Impreza sti pse3 i helgen som slirar på kopplingen samt är slut i ”gummiringarna” under fjädrarna(?). Jag är helt ny på subaru så jag vet inte riktigt vart jag ska vända mig..
Bilen är utrustad med steg 1+ annat smått o gott från jrm sen tidigare. Verkar även vara servad hos dom hela tiden. (har mejlat dom för att få reda på allt som är gjort på bilen)
Ska jag vända mig till dom om kopplingsbyte typ exedy eller köpa själv från utlandet och låta lokal verkstad göra jobbet? (koppling plus gummiringarna)
Även om vanlig service, oljor etc. Jrm eller lokal verkstad?
Och tidigare ägare påstod 360hk och 560nm
Vilken koppling skulle isåfall vara optimal? Vill inte köra nå 3puck utan gatvänligt.

exedy pink should cover what you need id think, if you can get good price from local workshop then theres no reason to go to jrm for a clutch change.
I called jrm today and they said that the exedy stage 1 should be enough. But the specs seems to be like 540nm (if I remember it right). It probably works but i would rather have like 600nm tolerans on the clutch.
Okey, exedy pink? wtf, how come that clutch is so cheap? suitable for up to 400bhp…. £358 from lateral performance (good store?)
And I also heard that it wasnt some rubber rings under the springs that was anoying. Standard thing with subaru dampers.

Nej de är nog dom klassiska bak dämparna som glappar, i sin in fästning i hylsan, har byt på min bak, och tog med dom gamla för inspektion på jobbet, och dom glappar i sid led så att säga, sjuk dom på dessa bilar de tyvärr, men jag har sneglat på om de inte skulle kunna gÅ att svarva en tunn mässings hylsa eller liknande och driva i emelan.
De enda positiva med glapandet är att de inte är något fel på själva dämpnings förmågan, men är ju ett jäkla drygt ljud.Fredrik

Det ser ju väldigt bra ut men vill inte köpa nå halvdant på en sån här bil.Mvh
its a great clutch and is used by lots of scooby owners in england, as for the price well lets just say for some reason stuff in sweden is stupidly priced, would certainly recommend any scooby owner to look at england for parts etc etc

not sure on your hp needs but give them a call, lateral is a good store yes, you might want to check out scoobyparts.com as well its one i use 🙂
Okey then i dont think i have to wonder any more, ill give them a call tomorrow. =) How is it from usa? Just wondering becouse the dollar is low and probably gets lower?
I have got ~360hk+ for now (i think, havent benched it yet) so the pink box 6speed is a given choise!
