Hi guys.
Im living in Canada and im soon moving to sweden. I drive a 93 impreza with a 2,5 RS swap(nonturbo). I was just woundering what The GT is and also what the RX and GL is?
Over here we have the 2,5 RS which is non turbo, WRX which is a 2.0L with turbo and we have the Sti which is a 2,5L with turbo. The sti i comes with a 6speed and the Wrx comes with a 5speed.
I can read swedish i just cant type it just yet.

Welcome.
Well the GT is the WRX, RX is a non turbo WRX and GL is the standard Impreza with 1.6>2.0L engine.
Both the new WRX and STI have 2.5L engines, the STI got it from 06> before that the STI was 2.0L.
From this year the WRX also have the 2.5L, you should buy a moded STI as when you to SWeden and you lived outside Sweden you get special rules reg. your car.
You can pretty much drive arround with a STI with 600Bhp and pass MOT as long as your lambda and CO is with in high limits 😀

Ok so i guess its almost the same. We only got the WRX in 2002 here and it was a 2.0L up intill 2006. Your RX is our RS except ours is a 2.5L
Thats what i have now. When i get to Sweden im planing on getting a 98-00 Gt becuz i like the GC better then the GD.
Alot off ppl here swap the Sti motors into the GC’s just to get a lighter car with turbo. Do u guys do swaps over there like Put the gt motor into a RX car?
Also the subarus here are like lego, u can fit most stuff from any year into any subarus.. Is it the same in sweden?

Yeah, Montreal is nice. I work in Montreal right now. Gonna go back to Sweden for a few weeks in September, but I’ll be back in Monreal after that probably till the end of this year.
