      STI (Subaru Tecnica International) has unveiled the new Subaru Impreza R205.

      Based on the Impreza WRX STI, the R205 features numerous performance and design tweaks. Speaking of the latter, the car is outfitted with new front and rear spoilers, a unique grille, revised side skirts, and 18-inch cast aluminum wheels wrapped in Bridgestone POTENZA RE070 tires.

      Under the hood, STI outfitted the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with an ”exclusively designed turbocharger with ball bearings for the turbine axle bearing, (a) specially tuned ECU (Engine Control Unit), and a sport muffler with lowered back pressure exhaust.” Thanks to these modifications, the engine produces 235 kW / 320 PS / 315hp and 431 Nm of torque.

      Elsewhere, STI added specially-tuned dampers, revised coil springs, flexible front suspension components, and Brembo brakes.

      On sale in Japan starting today, the Impreza R205 is priced from 4,510,000 Yen ($48,520 USD / €33,825). Production will be limited to 400 units.

              Till och med så jag blir sugen… för det priset alltså 🙂
              Är turbon en twin-scroll historia tro ?

              Edit : Har också hört rykten om en kommande STI, med renodlade banåkar-ambitioner 🙂
