LPG conversion

Hi,
I have been thinking about the LPG conversion in my WRX; with petrol prices being so high and LPG cost being half the cost of petrol (at least in UK – I will have to check in the rest of europe/sweden) it seems like the way forward.
The conversion from the Subaru dealer where I bought the car in Germany costs 3k euros including VAT and 3-year warranty.
In UK petrol price is 119.5p per lt whereas LPG is 59.5p per lt. That means that after 4000km you will start saving already (provided mpg of LPG is same as petrol).
The redusction in horsepower is not significant and the engine should be kept cleaner.
Has anyone used LPG and what is the mpg as compared with petrol? What are your experiences?
It would also add value to the car when it comes to sell it.
Has anyone done it and who would you recommend to do the conversion in Sweden (preferably Skåne area)?

Apart from the price difference I don’t really see the advantages… but I may be blind… I just wanted to post some written info about LPG since I didn’t know what it was myself although I have seen the abbreviation a million times…

Are there any gas stations that I can fill up with LPG in sweden?
I know Subaru UK convert the cars and LPG is available there but not sure about sweden (filling up points and who can do the conversion).
