Maintenence Services for Subaru!

First let me introduce my self, Im from the USA and been living in Sweden Goteborg for 2 years now, I have owned my subaru and modded for years. I believe a subaru should be properly modded for reliability and everything done correctly the first time.

After years of trial and error with my Subaru I’ve learned that lesson.

Right now my Subaru is down til I get a replacement built block, unfortunely I bought a used engine from Japan and im now there is coolant in the oil.

Saying all that I want to provide my services for anyone with a Subaru, I know how expensive a Mechanic or a Specialist in JapCars is here in Sweden and honestly I think I can provide a better service.

Services I can provide include

Oil Change ; Spark Plugs ; Ball Joints ; Axles ; Brakes; General Maintenence

Services of Installing/Modding parts include

Uppipe, Headers, Downpipe, Turbo, Top Mount Intercooler, Intake Manifold, TGV Deletes, Fuel Injectors, Gaskets, Turbo inlet pipe, Internal Wastegate, 3-port electronic boost controller(Along with a Hybrid setup that consist of a EBC and MBC) etc etc

I can also Diagnose issues that you may or may not have.
I can also do bigger jobs like swapping out your engine.

I can also help you get a proper tune for your car, I 100% believe every subaru should have a custom tune, even if its stock. Stay away from cheap things like ”chips”!!

My Swedish is pretty rough, but I do have my loving Girlfriend for translation.

Anywork done would be done at your place as I dont have a big enough garage.

You’re right, the local (Borås) authorised dealer doesn’t have a clue and the nearest ”specialised” place that I know of is JRM Racing in Stockholm.

Thanks, I actually had a delivery to the Borås Subaru, and just from being there I noticed you are very limited to service, hell any Dealer in Sweden, if I rememebr right has to go thru the boss in Malmo.

The problem I find with specialists is Cost, and minimal options you get.

If I cant find the issue then I wont charge a krown!
Would be unfair to anyone really.

I have romraider etc etc on my computer to help with Diagnoses or small edits.

The below setting is my Last tune I was on.
Like I said I modded for reliability not huge power!

Target Boost: 18psi and tapers to 14psi at 7000rpms 😛
Fuel: 93 Pump / 98Sweden

Engine/Power Modifications: 3in Decatted downpipe,Stock catted uppipe, K&N drop in filter,3inch midpipe, sti muffler, JDM V7 Intercooler, Sti Pinks, Gimmick Turbo inlet V2,TGV deletes

Compression Ratio: Stock 9:1
Fuel: Single Walbro 255
ECU: Stock USDM wrx ECU
Driveline Modifications: ACT Heavy Duty Clutch, ACT Lightweight Flywheel 12lb
Engine oil: Motul 10w40
Injectors Duty Cycle: 89%ish

I have now added more mods but didnt get to tune my car with them since engine is pooped. I was going to get it tuned on e85 as well to drive all year long!

Mods I added were

1000cc Injector Dynamic,
Kinugawa Internal Wastegate 14psi,
IACV Coolant bypass Mod(Free cheap mod!)
Uncatted uppipe,
HKS step 1 colder spark plugs.

Hybrid boost controller consisting of 3-port grimmspeed and a hallmans manual boost controller

All mods and work have been done on my own!
I can even help you get some cheap reliable parts!
for example I installed new front axles on my car for 2000sek(including tax!), not cheap axles that will break either, proven reliable!

If you dont have a garage, and winter comes around il find a way to be able to still work on your car! Even if its a big job like Engine removal etc etc!

Dont have the time to do it but dont want to overpay a shop to do a simple job?

I have lots of time during the morning and day to be able to work on people’s car’s. Hell if you want me to work on your car while your at work il do that! If you want me to do it outside your job place, im extremely okay with that!
